About Kelasio

Kelasio is a class-management service for teachers and students. This policy explains the data needed to provide the service and how the optional Google integration is used.

Service data

Depending on the features used, Kelasio may store account details, class membership, class and assignment information, submitted files, grades, payment records and operational records required for support and security.

Google account, Google Meet and Calendar

Google connection is optional. When a teacher explicitly connects Google, Kelasio requests only the permissions needed to create a Google Meet space and create or manage events on calendars owned by that teacher.

email

Kelasio does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, Meet recordings, Meet transcripts or user messages. A calendar event is created only when the teacher requests the related scheduled-session workflow.

For a connected Google account, Kelasio stores the Google account email and an encrypted OAuth refresh token so the teacher does not need to approve every future session request.

Google API data use and Limited Use

Kelasio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing integration requested by the teacher.

Sharing and sale of data

Kelasio does not sell user data and does not provide Google user data to advertising platforms or data brokers. Google OAuth tokens are used by Kelasio servers only for the authorized Meet and Calendar operations.

Disconnecting Google and deletion requests

A user can revoke Kelasio's Google access from their Google Account permissions. After revocation, Kelasio cannot create new Google Meet spaces or Calendar events until the teacher connects again. Data correction or deletion requests can be sent to support.

Security

Kelasio uses encrypted storage for Google refresh tokens and applies access controls appropriate to the service. No Internet service can promise absolute security, so access is limited to what is needed for the product workflow.
